11/20/2022 0 Comments Burnout paradise mapMarked Man - insanely hard (and frustrating) Regardless.my only complaint about the game is that I wish I had a GPS-like system so I wouldn't have to keep looking at the map. Road Rage is where you try to take everybody else out. Marked Man is when everybody's trying to take you out. I could do with a half-hour Marked Man race. I wish it would continually give you more time as you hit more cars. The velocities make for greater crashes and it's pretty easy to rack up many kills in a small time window. Is this a finish-able game? I'll probably buy the Big Surf Island DLC but not 'til I finish what I've already got.įor Marked Man, I jump on the freeway and have at it. I've got a class C license and just one more race to upgrade. But a car did come out of nowhere and plowed into me at full speed eventually, while I was pretty much just standing still.īut it only happened once so I was able to go on to win the Marked Man race. The other guys keeping pace with me can't take me down that way. Instead of racing to the finish line, I decided to slow down to a crawl. Again, though - it kinda feels like cheating against the spirit of the race. Speaking of cheating - I figured out a pretty good, though not foolproof strategy for Marked Man. Since I've been playing offline-only so far, I have been pausing my game to look at the map several times per race to figure out the right turns.I've read that the game will tell you when to turn but I haven't seen that option yet.ĭo you guys tend to do that? Pause your race in progress to map out your route? It almost feels like cheating. For one thing - despite what DJ Atomica says, I can't see learning the roads well enough to race without constantly looking at the map. I'm curious how you guys play though, because I feel like my strategies could use some tweaking. I've recently gotten back into playing Burnout Paradise.
